MoonHood is a newly founded gaming company, but its founders are far from beginners in the industry. Klaus Lyngeled, with over 30 years of game development experience, and Olov Redmalm both have extensive backgrounds in the gaming world, having worked on large productions.
Klaus previously led Zoink Games, creating more than 15 different projects, and later co-founded Thunderful Group, helping the company grow from 50 employees in Sweden to 160 locally and over 400 across the European market.
Olov Redmalm has also made a significant impact in the industry, notably as the director of the award-winning game “Ghost Giant” for PSVR and Meta which he made together with acclaimed writer Sara Bergmark Elfgren.
Olov and Klaus's most recent joint project was “Lost in Random”, funded and published by EA Originals. The title was a critically acclaimed success that won several awards. It was co-written with Ryan North, an Eisner Award-winning writer.
With MoonHood their goal is to create a unique and memorable world, utilizing physical models made of clay and cardboard that are 3D scanned and then assembled in Unreal Engine. The game they are currently developing is a dark yet cozy horror adventure called The Midnight Walk, available on consoles, PC, and even VR.
